I had the most "Wow!" feeling when I came to the art museum because I didn't expect it to be so colorful.
Even the stairs/ escalators have the coolest walls.
Here is my friend, Najwa. I like the refection of her on both sides of the escalators.
Here are the graffiti-ed walls on the left side of the museum.
It was one of those places where you just feel like sitting there because it's just that cool.
I couldn't show you how the insides are because pictures are not allowed but I'll tell you one of my favorite paintings there.
As most of you have noticed,
I have developed a liking for pictures with bold and loud colors.
Ali's wonderland I by Rafiee Abdul Ghan I (2009)
I couldn't find the picture on google so you have go to the museum to see it for yourself.
It's a boy trying to catch butterflies.
There were a lot of colors in the drawing.
I don't know how to describe it but just imagine how it feels.
The colors, to me, represents innocence because
as we grow older, our world starts to lose that innocence.
We start to lose that insight on life and everything complicates when we get older.
The colors just fade to grey.
And sometimes, in order for us to be happy again,
like Ali in the drawing,
we need to learn to catch butterflies.
Relax, take a breather.
Do something fun for a change, be a kid again.
In my opinion, it doesn't hurt be act like a kid
because sometimes, that's exactly what we need to bring back the colors in our life.
